Our last full day in the Philippines has been a big one and by the time we got back to the hotel, it was quite late. No one really felt like writing the blog, but so we wrote it together, passing the phone around the table, writing one sentence each. So here is the report from the day, written under the influence of delirious silliness and accumulated weariness!
Today we enjoyed the sights of Costabella. Did some solid swimming time. Snorkeled with some silly alien looking snorkels that covered my face, saw some fishes. Read, rested and reflected, exploring and chilling after a solid debrief sesh. We then headed out for some Mexican dinner.
Let me tell you more about the debrief. We talked about the various things that stood out to us - our challenges, what inspired us and the things we've learned along the way. We reflected on what we've experienced and thought about how it will be applied back at home.
After the solid swimming time we had some solid lunch. Then a liquid trip to the masseuse. Some stayed back from some solid chills, while others explored the liquid pools and scenic surrounds. By the way I forgot to add I had some real good pancakes this morning.
We all regrouped after our solid chills for a ride to the mall, where we devoured some Mexican for dinner, because Mexican is exactly what you should eat on your final night in the Philippines. THEN we went to the 'World of Fun!’ to smash out some solid classics on the videoke. And we all had some solid voices, it was lit .
Then we came to our humble fancy home and got humble fancy ice cream; with extraordinary talent the chef assembled our frozen dreams. Oh, and how could we forget that Pink has the stage presence and moves of her namesake, but definitely not the voice. Alright I'm tired and ending this, goodnight.
But wait there's more! We all sat around the table, eating our fancy ice creams, passing around the phone, writing this blog… can you tell who wrote which sentence? Additionally, forgot to mention getting very lost on our bicycles riding around Mactan. And classic Schoolies rev we are watching some solid vines. #litfam #crazy #skeoeeelies #joelisabalut
