Guess what we got to do this morning.... SLEEP IN!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaay! We were lucky enough to have a whole extra 30mins sleep in today which was pretty exciting! Especially when we had a big day ahead of us!
Our day started off with a delightful buffet breakfast followed by a ripper devotion from Pete about how the Bible is for all of us and finding our own ways to connect with God! After a quick break to regain our focus, we started session 3, part 1 of debrief. It was a great time being able to reflect on the 'what now' and the changes we want to make coming home!

We then headed off to lunch! Today was a bit of a special lunch for us, we went to an NGO cafe called 'Common Grounds'. We were privileged to be able to hear from a lady Marie who has been living and working in Cambodia for 4 years. She is part of an organization called PCL who run 5 different programs around Siem Reap. We got to learn heaps more from her and hear of great ways to help people in ways we may have not thought of! The lunch was quite delicious too!

Next stop.. the ticket office to get our photos taken for our temple passes and off to Angkor Wat! Our tour guide Bun knew all the right ways to go so we didn't get stuck in the crowds of other tourists! It was awesome hearing the history of the temples and the mysteries that are still unanswered! There was so much man and elephant power put into building the huge delicate temple with so much detail in every wall! After some good walking and climbing, selfie sessions and typical jump photos, we headed off to another temple not too far away. This temple is well known for the 4 faces that appear. There are again so many mysteries and theories behind who the faces are! Along with these 4 faces, there were hundreds more carved into pillars and walls! On the way to the 'jungle temple' we got to see some elephants and monkeys which was a bit of excitement for us! The jungle temple was quite different to the others. A bit smaller but had huge trees growing through it and weaving along the walls of the temple. Tim was on a mission to get a photo with a particular tree so didn't miss a photo opportunity with every tree we saw!
