Day 16 - Our last full day in Kampong Thom

Today was the last day we had in Kampong Thom - and I think it's safe to say that we've all loved it here. We finished off our stay here by going to our last children's home where we spent some time colouring in, making loom bands and playing with frisbees - very fun and very relaxing!!

After lunch, we had the amazing opportunity to pool together some of our money to purchase food necessities like rice, instant noodles and soy sauce, that would be enough to feed 10 families for 1 month. Samuel and Sen, our in-country contacts, took us to the 10 households we were to give these "food packs" and it was awesome to be able to see who the food was going to and to learn a little bit about them also. We were also lucky enough to pray for each household. It was an incredible experience, one that we will all cherish!

To finish off our awesome last day, we had dinner with Samuel and his family as well as Sen and his family, which was a night full of laughter and happiness! We are so blessed to have known these two families and spent so much time with them here in Kampong Thom and they will be sorely missed.

We've all had an amazing time in Kampong Thom, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend 2 amazing weeks here. Goodbye Kampong Thom, we will miss you!
