Day 1 - Launch Day

Well what an amazing day to kick-off our 2016 trips! We had all 50 our of team together for the first, met our interstate friends and had a great time! As the great Tim Wood said, this day was like the locker-room before hitting the field! We talked some strategy and tactics, about what makes a successful trip, as well as some motivation and inspiration to go for it! We also had a bit of fun hitting the streets of Croydon for a photo scavenger hunt! There were some impressive selfies and mannequin challenges!!! 

We also got to celebrate Bree's 18th birthday! A cake in Australia, as well as a special treat on the flight over, hopefully it was a day to remember!

After making our way to the airport and going our separate ways, each team has completed the first leg of the journey, now enjoying a "short" break in Doha (Uganda) and Singapore (Philippines & Cambodia). 

Thanks to all the parents for your support of this journey so far, for coming along at the start of the Launch Day and making it a special moment. We value your support and recognise the massive part you play in all this! 

Also a special thank you to EV's Youth Centre & Maroondah Youth Services for their help in hosting us for the day!
