[Uganda] Day 5: Thank God it's Friday

After a wild night at the freakin zoo (including sleep talking, snoring and pillow fights) we all enjoyed some well-deserved donuts (halfcakes) for brekky before heading off to Hope Community High School. At the high school we learnt more about the education system in Uganda, met some of the students and then slid (literally from all the mud) into some soccer and netball competitions!

In the afternoon we went back to the Village of Hope. As it’s holidays all the children were home from school so we had hours of fun playing with lego, dancing and being shown around the Village by the kids. It was a special time to get a deeper relationship with the Village of Hope as we had only briefly visited last time.

To finish off the day we had some girls and guys nights to chat, encourage and reflect on what we have seen on the trip so far.
