Yo whats good lads, waking up today was a mystery because of the extreme fatigue that I and the other boisa experienced despite the lack of hard labour the previous day. After the night of me screaming in my dream and instilling absolute fear into the other lads, they have become paranoid. Breakfast was the standard rolex with hot sauce, no ketchup.
With the talk of the plans for the day that involved working hard at the village of hope, it was clear that no one was super keen on a hard days of work and an inspirational talk about cute little kids was needed. And so old mate papa Johann came through with the pep talk.

Kicking off the day at the Village of Hope, the girls went into the houses to render the bricks with good old cow manure. Whereas the boys were called to carry bricks from the other houses and stack them outside the house. The minds of the boys all worked together to conjure a flawless plan, and so we came up with a chain of men each passing bricks to one another while others laid the bricks in an orderly fashion while others grabbed the bricks from the pile inside the house. While playing with the bricks, dust was flying around the room parallel to kendall’s unnecessary jokes being thrown around the room.

After the first half of the day was done, most people were keen to sleep through the rest of the day, while I was keen to hang up a hammock and let the breeze swing me, lol.

So as lunch passed and we slowly walked back to the village, the sun became hotter and people began to feel more tired. With all the bricks cleared from one of the houses, most of the Africa squad helped render the inside of the house with cow poo again. For most, including me, the temptation of wiping the mud on people was too much and so mini mud fights here were created which resulted in muddy skin that slightly stung from the lime that was used in the mix. With the majority of the house rendered, we packed up and headed back home all very excited to have a cheeky soda and shower.

To finish off a challenging days of work, the boys; with our minds connecting to form one flawless idea, decided to have a boys night including cookies and 22 jump street. So as I finish this blog, I hope the rents back home don’t miss us too much. Oh and by the way, yeah the boys.
