Today started off with a long tuktuk ride with a number of wrong turns however the experience opened our eyes to the more rural communities of Phnom Penh.
Upon arrival at the Wellspring Initiative office we were kindly greeted by a few of the members of the initiative, in this time we were introduced into the culture and protection programs for the children who are educated in the centre.

After worshipping and praying together we ventured into the community and met a few of the students that we will be working with in the coming days and their families. On this walk our eyes were opened to how some people are living within the world and the ways in which they are grateful for what they have even if to us it looks like not much.

In the afternoon we spent time planning the activities we will do with the kids in the coming days and finishing the day with a team discussion celebrating the team’s efforts and contributions throughout the day.
