2019 Preparation

We have been busy preparing for this year and we are so excited to head off soon! We have two trips at capacity, each team full of excited students who are heading into their exams and then heading overseas with us! 

We have a group heading over to Cambodia, and another group heading over to the Philippines. All up, we have 22 students from 14 different schools, as well as a team of 7 leaders. Over the course of the year, we have had numerous team meetings, where we have gotten to know each other, had constant reminders about what we need to pack and prepare, as well as work through some training through the 'Helping Without Hurting' series. 

While we can never be totally prepared for trips like these, we feel like our team is well-equipped to not just get involved in some projects with our partners overseas, but also to learn from the people we meet. Our hope is that through the 3 weeks we spend together, in the midst of a totally new culture, that we would learn more about ourselves, our world and our faith, and through all of that, we would change and grow, so that when we return home, we can make a real difference there.
